Absolut Vodka: A campaign worth toasting
When Absolut launched its 2020 limited-edition holiday bottle, pandemic restrictions meant fewer in-store displays and limited shopper interaction. The challenge was getting a premium product noticed by the right people.
That’s where we came in. Partnering with Canada Post, Marketing Kitchen produced and mailed 250,000 oversized, high-impact pieces to urban millennials in Ontario and British Columbia.
The mailer was bold, tactile and impossible to miss in the mailbox - featuring vibrant design, die-cut gift tags, cocktail recipes, and a QR code linking directly to local retailers.
The outcome? Record-breaking sales: Absolut saw a 70% increase over the previous year, proving that a perfectly executed piece of direct mail can cut through the noise and deliver measurable impact.
Canada Day Mailer: Sweet, Smart, and Truly Canadian
At Marketing Kitchen, we wanted to celebrate Canada Day in a way that felt both creative and memorable. A couple of weeks ahead of the holiday, we mailed a custom die-cut self-mailer that met all Canada Post specifications for oversized personalized mail - keeping costs low while impact stayed high.
Inside, each piece was fully personalized and held a bag of Canadian Maple–flavoured Squish gummies. Tucked behind were eight table place cards, each featuring a Canadiana-themed icebreaker question.
From candy to conversation, personalization to production, this campaign was interactive, memorable, and proudly Canadian. Clients loved it - many even wrote back with their road trip soundtrack picks, inspired by one of the icebreaker questions.

For Genesis, we created a recognition gift that was stylish, distinctive and perfectly on-brand: a black-and-copper Asobu drink bottle paired with Toronto’s Pop the Champagne popcorn - its packaging perfectly echoing the brand’s palette.
Wrapped in tissue, sealed with a bespoke sticker, and personal note and presented in a reusable magnetic-close box, the gift felt premium from the start. We finished it off with Genesis-logoed wrapping paper - strong enough to ship in, so the branding and anticipation began the moment the package landed in their hands.
