Avi's connection to Marketing Kitchen goes back to his student days at Ryerson (now TMU), where he was deep into an Applied Math degree and spending his spare time in our warehouse, learning the ropes from his mom, Kitty. He also picked up experience on the fulfillment team, so by the time he graduated, he already knew the place better than most people twice his age.
That math background turned out to be good training, because Avi's next stop was the Laser Room, where precision is basically the whole job description. Diligent, conscientious, and yes, laser-focused, he's become one of the most dependable people on the floor.
Outside of work, Avi's idea of a good time is watching a good horror or action movie or a few hours deep in a video game, which feels a little at odds with the fact that he's also a former lifeguard and lifelong swimmer who's genuinely pulled people out of real danger. Turns out the guy who signs up for fictional scares is just as calm when the stakes are actually real.
